Datuk Haw Chin Teck is a senior legal practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in conveyancing, banking and finance, commercial advisory, due dilligence exercse, off shore advisory, company winding up, human resources, famly related matters, and civil litigation.
In 1998, Datuk Haw co-founded Azli, Haw & Co., which later amalgamated with Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2002. Since 2000, he has played a key role in managing the firm’s operations and expanding its practice areas.
He has also appeared in a wide range of litigation matters, including civil disputes, vehicular accident claims, debt recovery, foreclosure proceedings, enforcement of judgments, bankruptcy and insolvency, reclamation and winding-up proceedings.
His combination of practical experience, commercial insight, and legal depth makes him a trusted advisor to both individual and corporate clients.
Datuk Haw graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London in 1995 and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice the following year. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in early 1997, after completing his pupillage under the guidance of Ms. Cheah Poh Gek of Messrs Cheah Poh Gek & Associates, where he gained valuable early exposure to banking, conveyancing, company secretarial and civil litigation.
Following his admission, Datuk Haw joined Messrs Badri, Kuhan, Yeoh & Ghandi as a Legal Assistant, where he managed a wide portfolio of banking and conveyancing matters. His work included property financing, trade financing, project financing, and the end-financing of property development projects. He also advised on share and asset sales, obtained Foreign Investment Committee (FIC) approvals for international clients, and assisted in joint ventures and foreign equity ownership structures in Malaysia.
