Pn Hjh Khairin-Nisa Binti Ismail @ Md. On
Pn Hjh Khairin-Nisa founded the firm in 1993 and has been at the helm of its growth for over three decades. With deep expertise in civil law, corporate transactions, and property development, she has represented a wide spectrum of clients—from individuals to institutions—across Malaysia. Her approach is grounded in professionalism, practical insight, and long-term client relationships.
She continues to lead the firm with integrity, ensuring every matter is handled with diligence and clarity.
In March 2022, due to her appointment as the Executive Councillor of the State Government of Johor, she has resigned from the Firm and practice since the appointment.

Datuk Haw Chin Teck
Datuk Haw brings extensive experience in commercial law, litigation, and corporate advisory, having co-founded Azli, Haw & Co. before its amalgamation with Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2002. Known for his strategic thinking and meticulous case preparation, Datuk Haw has advised on complex commercial disputes and high-value transactions.

Mr Foo Yoke Sun
Mr Foo Yoke Sun co-founded M/s Foo & Tan in 2005 and joined the partnership in 2009 and has become a key figure in the firm’s property, banking, and finance practice areas. He routinely advises on loan agreements, security documentation, and real estate transactions, offering clients clear legal direction backed by years of practical experience.
His detail-oriented and solution-driven approach makes him a trusted advisor for clients navigating high-stakes financial matters.
Director, Government and International Affairs Development
Mr Lim Ching Hao
Mr Lim Ching Hao is responsible for overseeing government and international affairs development, focusing on policy engagement, public affairs, and strategic coordination with government and institutional stakeholders.
He previously served in several key positions within Malaysia’s public sector, including as Press Secretary to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department. Lim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
Head, Real Estate & Property
Mr Foo Yong Chai
Mr Foo Yong Chai leads the firm’s real estate and property development initiatives. With extensive experience working with stakeholders in the property industry, he plays a key role in facilitating property-related legal engagements.
Leveraging his deep understanding of the property development landscape, Foo works closely with developers and industry partners to support project acquisition and strengthen the firm’s presence in real estate and conveyancing matters.

Ms. Chan Jin Yi
With dual qualifications in Malaysia and the UK, Ms. Chan brings over 20 years of legal experience in conveyancing, commercial transactions, and corporate advisory. She joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2011, bringing with her a wealth of international legal insight.
Datin Yap Pek Li
Datin Yap Pek Li handles sub-sale and auction properties, commercial and consumer loans, probate, and family law matters. With 16 years of clerical experience before being called to the Bar, she joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2015 after completing her pupillage with the firm.
Ms. Dwee Chiew Chin
A dedicated conveyancing lawyer, Ms. Dwee focuses on sub-sale transactions and property development matters. She joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2016 and is known for her efficiency and attention to detail in real estate law.
Ms. Gan Hui Yee
Having served as a paralegal since 2014, Ms. Gan was retained as a Legal Assistant in 2023 after completing her chambering with the firm. She manages sub-sales, tenancy agreements, loan documentation, and project conveyancing.
Ms. Ling Shan-Min
Ms. Ling joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in 2023 following her pupillage under Datuk Haw Chin Teck. Her work spans both conveyancing and litigation, including property transactions, debt recovery, and probate matters.
Ms. Nur Arini Wahida Binti Badrul Hisham
Ms. Arini joined the firm in December 2023, bringing experience from her previous practice in Terengganu. She handles conveyancing transactions and is currently advancing her expertise through postgraduate studies in Syariah Law and a Master of Laws.
Mr. Li Jian Zhang
Mr. Li joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in January 2024 as part of the litigation team. With training in both England and Malaysia, he has handled a wide range of disputes including contracts, family law, and company matters.
Ms. Siti Marissa Elena Binti Muhammad Mustaqim
Ms. Siti joined Khairin-Nisa & Co in April 2024, focusing on conveyancing matters such as developer projects, sub-sales, and perfection of transfer and charge. Her prior pupillage with a property-focused firm adds to her solid foundation.
Ms. Aida Syahira Binti Jaini
Ms. Aida joined the firm in December 2024 after completing her pupillage at Khairin-Nisa & Co. She supports both the litigation and conveyancing teams, handling matters such as probate, tenancy, and property perfection while pursuing Syariah law studies.
